Military Tent and Items

While on the Threshermen show grounds, the American Legion Post 299 extends an invitation to visit the military memorabilia display tent and vintage military vehicles, located on the south side of the grounds. Included are such items as helmets, caps, medals, clothing, etc. used by our military in years past. Over a dozen vintage military vehicles are on display, including Jeeps, trucks, a halftrack, a DUWK, a weasel and others from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. Anyone with a vintage military vehicle or other memorabilia items is encouraged to display in this area. For more information, please contact Karl Lind at (712) 843-5829.
